Caldera
Visual identity
Santorini is not just an island. It is the result of millennia of volcanic activity, destruction and renewal.
The most defining moment in the island’s history is the Minoan eruption (c. 1600 BCE) – one of the most powerful volcanic eruptions in human history. It destroyed the island’s central landmass and created the caldera.
This collection tells the story of the island through three wines- before destruction, after catastrophe, and today.
The shapes of the island throughout the erruptions are represented by the lables.
